How House Fires Can Spread Quickly in Residential Areas
House fires can spread rapidly, especially when flames reach furniture, walls, and other materials inside a home. Once a fire grows, smoke and heat can make it difficult for occupants to escape safely.
Limited visibility and toxic smoke are often the biggest dangers during a fire. Even small fires can become life-threatening in a short amount of time if not controlled quickly.
Firefighters must carefully search structures for occupants while also working to contain the flames. Early detection systems and clear escape plans can help reduce risks in residential fires.
