Flagler County, FL (July 14, 2026) – A 57-year-old De Leon Springs man died, and a 59-year-old Port St. Lucie man suffered minor injuries in a head-on collision between a pickup truck and a tractor-trailer on State Road 100 early on Monday morning, July 13. The crash happened at approximately 5:10 a.m., about 1.2 miles west of Bertha Road.
The pickup was traveling westbound when it left its lane and entered the eastbound lane, striking the left front of the tractor-trailer. The pickup’s driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Next of kin have been notified.
The tractor-trailer driver sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene. No further details about the identity of the man killed were included in the initial report on the accident.
