Manhattan, NY (January 30, 2026) – Emergency responders were dispatched on Thursday to a vehicle collision with injuries in the Morningside Heights area of Manhattan, near 656 W 125th St.
The crash occurred on January 29 and involved at least one vehicle in a busy stretch of 125th St. EMS and NYPD units arrived promptly at the scene to assist those involved. At least one person was confirmed to have sustained injuries, and medical personnel provided care on-site. The severity of the injuries has not yet been released.
Located near Columbia University and several residential and commercial buildings, the area saw temporary traffic congestion while first responders managed the crash and cleared the scene. Police worked to control traffic and gather information from those involved in the collision.
