Miami Co., IN (April 13, 2026) – A crash involving a semi-truck and a pickup left two people seriously hurt on Monday morning, April 13, in Miami County. Emergency units responded to the northbound lanes of U.S. Highway 31 near County Road 850 South at about 6:44 a.m.
According to reports, a Dodge Ram pickup sustained heavy front-end damage in the collision. The semi-truck was left blocking traffic following the crash.
Crews worked to remove two people trapped inside the pickup before providing medical care. Both individuals were later flown by helicopter to nearby hospitals for treatment.
