Understanding Multi-Vehicle Crashes
Crashes involving three or more vehicles often occur at intersections or busy roadways where sudden stops or turns can lead to collisions. Injuries can range from minor bruises to severe trauma, depending on the speed of impact and whether seat belts were worn. Emergency responders usually arrive quickly to provide medical care and transport the injured to hospitals. Vehicle damage and roadway conditions can affect how a crash unfolds, and even seemingly minor impacts may result in hidden injuries. Understanding how multiple vehicles interact in tight spaces can help explain why these crashes often involve several injured people and sometimes fatalities.
