Albany, NH (June 29, 2026) – An afternoon head-on collision between a motorcycle and a passenger vehicle left the motorcyclist dead on Route 16. The crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 27, just north of Piper Trail.
According to the official report, Daniel Jennings, 34, of Tamworth, was traveling northbound when he reportedly lost control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle crossed the center line and entered the southbound lane, where it collided head-on with an oncoming vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries and was released after treatment. No additional injuries were reported.
