Granby, CT (July 29, 2026) – A 69-year-old motorcyclist was killed after a collision involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Route 189 near Peck Orchard Rd on Sunday evening, July 26. The crash was reported at approximately 5:45 p.m.
Police identified the motorcyclist as Mark Floryan of Tariffville. He was found with severe injuries and taken to Hartford Hospital by LifeStar, where he later died from his injuries. The driver of the second vehicle was not injured and remained at the scene.
The identities of the other driver and additional details about the circumstances leading to the collision were not released in the initial report.
