Newark, NJ (January 12, 2026) – A two-vehicle collision involving a truck and a sedan resulted in reported injuries late on Friday night along I-280 eastbound near Exit 13, prompting an emergency response and traffic control efforts.
The crash occurred around 10:49 p.m. on January 9, according to dispatch communications. Emergency crews were dispatched after reports came in that a collision had taken place involving a commercial truck, possibly a FedEx vehicle, and a smaller passenger sedan. Upon arrival, responders discovered one driver possibly trapped between the vehicles, requiring immediate assistance.
