Norfolk, VA (April 16, 2026) – Three people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday afternoon on Interstate 264 in Norfolk.
According to the Virginia State Police, the crash occurred around 5:30 p.m. on the westbound side of I-264 near mile marker 9.8, close to Ballentine Blvd.
Authorities reported that six vehicles were involved in the collision, leading to injuries for three individuals. Emergency crews responded to the scene to assist the injured and provide medical care before transporting those who needed further treatment.
Lane closures were in place as crews worked to clear the roadway and investigate the crash. The incident remains under investigation, and additional details may be released as they become available.
