Oklahoma City, OK (January 14, 2026) – A serious two-vehicle collision led to injuries and a rescue response Monday evening in downtown Oklahoma City. The crash occurred around 5:19 p.m. near W Sheridan Ave, where one of the vehicles was reportedly found on its side with an occupant trapped inside.
Emergency crews, including Engine 8 and paramedics, were quickly dispatched to the scene. Rescue units worked to safely extricate the individual from the overturned vehicle, while medics assessed and treated injuries sustained in the crash. At least one person was transported to a nearby hospital for additional medical care.
The roadway was temporarily closed while responders secured the area, removed the wreckage, and ensured no further hazards remained. Police also began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash, which took place during peak evening traffic hours.
