Omaha, NE (January 12, 2026) – Fire crews responded to a two-car collision with injuries on Saturday evening on Maple St in Omaha. Engine 78 was first on the scene and established a command post, known as “Maple Command,” to coordinate emergency operations around 7:57 p.m.
Upon arrival, responders found both vehicles with visible damage and at least one person requiring medical attention. Paramedics evaluated those involved and provided care on site. The extent of injuries sustained in the crash has not yet been released, though the response classified the incident as a personal injury collision.
The area around the crash site was temporarily controlled by fire personnel to ensure safety for the public and emergency crews as they managed the scene and cleared debris. Authorities have not confirmed the cause of the crash or whether any citations will be issued.
