Victorville, CA (July 7, 2026) – One person was airlifted after a two-vehicle collision Sunday afternoon, July 5, at Bear Valley Road and Ridgecrest Road in Victorville. The accident was reported at about 2:16 p.m.
The wreck involved a maroon Chevrolet sedan and a gray Ram pickup truck. Officials said the Chevrolet was traveling west on Bear Valley Road, while the Ram was traveling south on Ridgecrest Road when the vehicles collided.
Responders requested a medical helicopter for one of the injured occupants because of the severity of the injuries. One person from the sedan was flown to a regional trauma center, and another sedan occupant was also brought to a hospital.
The two people in the pickup truck were not injured. Westbound Bear Valley Road was temporarily detoured while tow trucks removed the damaged vehicles.
The cause of the crash remains under review. We hope those hurt receive steady care and continue to recover.
