Wichita Falls, TX (July 16, 2026) – A 60-year-old man died after an industrial accident at a business on Southwest Parkway in Wichita Falls on Wednesday afternoon, July 15.
According to the Wichita Falls Police Department, the incident happened shortly after 2 p.m. at United Rentals, located at 6230 Southwest Parkway. Officials said Rick Don Scott of Iowa Park and coworkers were changing equipment on the cab of a skid steer when the equipment fell and caused severe injuries.
Scott was transported for emergency medical treatment and was pronounced dead at 3:50 p.m. at United Regional Health Care System.
