Randolph County, NC (July 15, 2026) – A 23-year-old man suffered minor injuries after being struck in a hit-and-run crash early on Wednesday morning, July 15, on Racine Road in Randolph County.
According to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 6 a.m. Troopers said the man was walking in the roadway when he was hit by a pearl white 2013-2018 Nissan Altima.
The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was not transported to a hospital. Investigators said the vehicle fled the scene and is believed to be missing its right-side mirror, with possible damage to the right side of the car.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or driver to contact the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
