Saraland, AL (July 2, 2026) – A fatal multi-vehicle collision involving four vehicles, including two 18-wheelers, shut down Highway 158 for several hours on Tuesday in Saraland.
According to officials with the Saraland Police Department, the crash occurred between Kali Oka Rd and Shelton Beach Rd Extension shortly before 11:30 a.m. At least one person died as a result of the collision, though it was not immediately known which vehicle they were in.
The wreck involved four vehicles total and led to a full closure of both eastbound and westbound lanes for an extended period while emergency units worked in the corridor.
