South San Francisco, CA (June 25, 2026) – A rollover traffic collision was reported shortly after midnight on northbound US-101 near the Sierra Point Parkway off-ramp in South San Francisco.
According to dispatch records, the call came in at approximately 12:31 a.m. Initial reports indicated a gray Toyota Camry and a black four-door sedan were involved. One vehicle overturned and came to rest on its roof, partially blocking the right and slow lanes. A report of a vehicle fire was also received during the early stages of the emergency call.
Additional information from the dispatch log indicated that at least two vehicles may have been involved. One person was found outside a vehicle and was conscious and breathing when emergency units arrived. A passing motorist, identified as an ICU nurse, stopped to assist and assess the person before further aid arrived.
Tow truck services were requested for the overturned vehicle, and the roadway was later cleared. Further details about the collision, including the extent of any injuries and the identities of those involved, were not immediately available.
