Logan Co., OH (June 25, 2026) – A two-vehicle accident was reported on Tuesday afternoon, June 23, on County Road 187 in Logan County. The wreck happened just after 12:30 p.m. near 4588 County Road 187.
Deputies said 48-year-old Petr Cholak of Inman, South Carolina, was driving a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado south on County Road 187. A 2011 Honda CR-V driven by 19-year-old Addison Cupps of Urbana was traveling north.
Investigators said the Silverado crossed left of center and entered the path of the Honda. Cupps told deputies she moved as far right as possible, but the pickup still hit her vehicle.
After the collision, the Honda went off the right side of the road and into a ditch. The Silverado stopped disabled in the roadway.
Cholak told deputies he believed he was in his lane and said the road was narrow. Investigators cited him for driving left of center after reviewing roadway evidence.
