Marion, SC (July 14, 2026) – A two-car collision on Sunday, July 12, left one driver killed and another injured in Marion County. The vehicles involved were a 1997 Toyota Corolla and a 2012 Hyundai Santa traveling north on Hwy 41 near Ponderosa Rd before they collided at an intersection.
The driver of the Toyota Corolla was the only person inside that vehicle. The person’s identity has not been released, and the Hyundai driver’s name was not included in the initial report.
The crash remains under review as more details are gathered about what led to the fatal wreck. The investigation into the cause of the crash is continuing, with additional findings expected as the review progresses.
