Martin County, FL (June 30, 2026) – A 41-year-old Palm City man died following a collision on Florida’s Turnpike about two miles south of Becker Road early on Monday morning, June 29. The wreck was reported at approximately 1:15 a.m.
The man was driving a 2018 Nissan Rogue northbound when the front of his vehicle struck the rear of a northbound semi-truck. The cause of the crash has not been determined.
The man was taken to Florida Coast Medical Center in Port St. Lucie, where he died at 1:55 a.m. The semi-truck driver, a 38-year-old Leesburg man, reported no injuries. Investigators continue to look into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
