Pawtucket, RI (February 1, 2026) – Emergency responders from Pawtucket Fire and Rescue were dispatched to the scene of a vehicle crash on Columbia Ave, where at least one person sustained injuries. The incident was reported at approximately 1:02 p.m. on January 31, based on fire dispatch communications.
First responders arrived at the location near the cross streets of Chimera Ave and Owen Ave, where they assisted a female occupant of the vehicle who was reportedly experiencing back pain following the collision. Paramedics provided on-site medical assessment and care, and the injured woman ultimately declined transport after receiving aid.
Rescue units, including Engine Two and Rescue One, initially responded but were later cleared and returned to service. No police units were reported on scene during the response, and no other injuries were mentioned in the dispatch records.
