St. Cloud, FL (July 5, 2026) – A pedestrian was killed in an overnight crash involving a vehicle on US 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway) East of Pineview Crest Road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Authorities were called to investigate at approximately 1:44 a.m. on Friday, July 3.
Troopers said a 2018 Nissan Rogue was traveling eastbound when it struck a 32-year-old man from St. Cloud who was in the roadway and not in a marked crosswalk. Officials said the pedestrian was in the inside lane and directly in the path of the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Nissan, a 66-year-old man from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, along with two passengers, a 57-year-old woman from Bensalem and a 67-year-old woman from Melbourne, were not injured and remained at the scene.
