Petersburg, VA (January 6, 2026) – A man sustained injuries following a two-vehicle accident that took place in Petersburg on the night of January 3, prompting a response from local emergency crews.
The incident occurred near the intersection of Halifax St and Palmer St around 9:26 p.m. The accident involved two gray vehicles, one of which collided with the guide wires of a utility pole. Engine Two and Medic Twelve from Petersburg Fire/Rescue responded to the scene and began assessing damage and treating those involved.
The crash occurred on January 3 and resulted in one man reporting shoulder pain. He was conscious and breathing when crews arrived. Both vehicles were reported to have only minor physical damage, and no life-threatening injuries were mentioned.
