Philadelphia, PA (January 19, 2026) – A 29-year-old man sustained a head injury following an auto accident near S 11th St in Philadelphia on January 18. The victim was transported by emergency medical personnel to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital for trauma care.
According to medics on scene, the man showed signs of head trauma but remained conscious and alert throughout evaluation. He was not taking blood thinners, and no loss of consciousness was reported. His vital signs were considered stable during transport. It was also noted that the patient tested positive for alcohol at the time of the incident.
The emergency unit indicated they were just minutes away from the hospital during radio communications. No further information was released regarding the nature of the collision or any additional vehicles involved.
