Opelika, AL (January 19, 2026) – Emergency crews were called to a motor vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon near the intersection of Second Avenue and Tenth Street in Opelika. The collision, reported just before 3:00 p.m. on January 18, involved multiple individuals requiring medical attention, including at least one person suffering from chest pain and another feeling faint.
Battalion One and Engine One responded to the scene and established command to manage both the medical response and scene safety. The total number of vehicles involved has not been confirmed, but the nature of the emergency response suggests serious concern for the individuals affected.
