How Loss of Control Crashes Can Turn Deadly
Single-vehicle crashes like the one on North 56th Street in Tampa, Florida often occur when a driver loses control due to speed, impairment, distraction, or mechanical failure.
When a vehicle departs its lane at higher speeds, collisions with fixed objects such as utility poles or traffic signs can result in severe damage due to the sudden stop and lack of cushioning. In cases involving multiple occupants, seating position and restraint use can significantly affect survival outcomes.
