Phoenix, AZ (January 25, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision with reported injuries on Friday afternoon, January 23, in the 3000 block of West Belmont Avenue in Phoenix.
The crash occurred around 2:44 p.m. and was classified as a “962,” indicating an injury-involved vehicle collision. According to dispatch communications, the driver of one of the vehicles appeared shaken and hesitant to exit the vehicle, while a passenger was reported to be experiencing leg pain.
Fire and medical personnel were dispatched to the scene to evaluate and assist those involved. Additional police units were also requested to support response efforts in the residential neighborhood where the crash occurred.
The accident took place on January 23 in a community area of west Phoenix, where local traffic and narrow residential roads can increase the risk of collisions. The current condition of the injured passenger has not been released, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
