Porterville, CA (January 30, 2026) – One individual was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Road 238 near 10773 Rd 238, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident was reported at approximately 4:34 p.m. and involved a white Dodge and a blue Chevrolet pickup. Both vehicles sustained visible damage in the crash, which occurred in a rural stretch of Tulare County.
Firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the call was received. One person was treated for minor injuries and transported to a nearby hospital for further medical evaluation. The identities of those involved have not been released.
Investigators have not yet determined the circumstances that led to the crash. The roadway remained partially blocked for a short period as crews cleared the scene and assessed the area for safety.
