Sioux Falls, SD (June 28, 2026) – A 76-year-old man died following a two-vehicle collision on Friday afternoon, June 26, on Madison St near Kiwanis Ave in Sioux Falls. The crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. when a Chevrolet Silverado entered Madison Street from a private drive.
The police said the Silverado, driven by a 71-year-old man, entered the roadway as a Honda CR-V carrying three occupants was traveling eastbound. The front of both vehicles came together in the eastbound lanes. The 76-year-old man riding in the rear seat of the Honda was taken to a hospital, where he later died. The three other people involved were hurt but sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening. Their names have not been released pending family notification. Investigators continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
