Riverside, CA (January 14, 2026) – A multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle left one person with major injuries Tuesday afternoon on westbound State Route 91 near La Sierra Avenue in Riverside, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision occurred around 3:57 p.m. and involved a motorcycle, a white Kia SUV, and an additional vehicle. Emergency responders arrived to find the injured motorcyclist seated in the HOV lane, receiving care at the scene.
Paramedics treated the rider for serious injuries before transporting them to a local hospital. Authorities have not released the individual’s current condition or identity. It remains unclear whether any other parties sustained injuries in the crash.
The cause of the collision is still under active investigation as CHP officers review the circumstances and collect statements from those involved.
