What Happens When a Vehicle Loses Control on a Highway
When a vehicle spins out on a highway, it can quickly move into other lanes and create a risk for nearby traffic. Wet roads, sudden steering movements, or loss of traction are common factors that may lead to this kind of situation.
Crashes involving large trucks can be more severe due to their size and weight. Even at moderate speeds, the force of impact can cause significant damage to smaller vehicles.
Investigators often review road conditions, tire marks, and vehicle positions to understand how the loss of control occurred. These details help explain how the crash developed.
