Rochester, NY (January 10, 2026) – A traffic collision resulting in injuries was reported on January 8 in the 1400 block of Carter St, between Wilkie Dr and Gothic St, in Rochester. Emergency crews, including EMS and fire personnel, were dispatched to the area shortly before 2:50 p.m. following reports of a crash involving at least one injured individual.
Engine 16 responded to the call and arrived at the scene to assist with patient care and traffic control. First responders worked swiftly to assess the condition of those involved and confirmed that at least one person sustained injuries in the crash. The specific nature and severity of those injuries have not yet been released.
Temporary disruptions occurred along Carter St while crews worked to manage the scene and ensure the safety of surrounding motorists.
