San Jose, CA (May 3, 2026) – A tragic multi-vehicle crash in South San Jose on Saturday afternoon left one woman dead and several others injured.
According to the San Jose Police Department, the collision was reported around 3:54 p.m. at the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Santa Teresa Boulevard. Initial reports indicate that multiple vehicles were involved in the crash, creating a chaotic scene at the busy intersection.
Emergency crews responded quickly and located several injured individuals. Multiple մարդիկ were transported to local hospitals with varying degrees of injuries. Despite lifesaving efforts, one woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities closed the intersection and nearby roadways for several hours as investigators worked to determine what led to the crash and to allow crews to safely clear the area.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
