San Leandro, CA (January 19, 2026) – A hit-and-run collision early Monday morning on northbound Interstate 880 just south of Marina Blvd left at least one person injured, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred around 2:50 a.m. when a gray sedan with visible front-end damage and a hanging bumper was located on the roadside. The driver reported neck pain and requested emergency medical assistance. The crash was later reclassified as a hit-and-run with injuries.
