Head-On Collisions on Rural Highways
Head-on crashes are among the most serious types of traffic accidents due to the combined force of impact between vehicles traveling in opposite directions. These collisions frequently result in fatal or life-threatening injuries, particularly on rural highways where vehicles often travel at higher speeds.
Authorities encourage drivers to remain alert, avoid distractions, and use extra caution on two-lane roadways. Even a brief lane departure can lead to catastrophic consequences for everyone involved.
