Shreveport, LA (January 10, 2026) – Emergency crews responded to a traffic collision with reported injuries on Friday afternoon at the busy interchange of Interstate 49 North and Interstate 20 East in Shreveport, located in Caddo Parish.
The crash occurred around 4:49 p.m. on January 9. First responders arrived on scene to assess the situation and provide medical assistance to those involved. At least one person was reported injured in the incident, though the severity of injuries and number of vehicles involved have not been confirmed.
Traffic in the area was impacted during the emergency response, as crews worked to assist the injured and clear the roadway in one of the city’s most heavily traveled corridors.
