What Factors Often Contribute to Fatal Crashes on Busy City Roads
Busy city roads often carry steady traffic, increasing the chance of serious crashes. Vehicles may be traveling at moderate or high speeds, which can lead to severe impact forces during a collision. Even a brief delay in reaction time can make it harder to avoid another vehicle.
Intersections, turning points, and traffic signals can also increase risk. Drivers must pay attention to surrounding traffic and changing conditions. Sudden stops or unexpected movements can quickly lead to a crash.
Safety features such as seat belts and airbags can help reduce harm. Staying alert, maintaining safe distances, and following traffic laws can help lower the risk of fatal accidents on city streets.
