Simi Valley, CA (January 10, 2026) – An accident early Saturday afternoon on the eastbound 118 Freeway at the Rocky Peak offramp left at least one person injured and caused disruption along the Ventura County corridor.
The crash occurred around 12:36 p.m. near the Simi Valley and Los Angeles County line. Emergency crews responded to the eastbound lanes following reports of a traffic collision involving injuries. First responders, including medics and fire personnel, arrived at the scene to assess and assist the individuals involved.
Authorities confirmed that those hurt in the incident were evaluated for a variety of injuries, although the extent and number of individuals affected have not yet been disclosed. The crash occurred near a busy transition area, which may have contributed to delays and congestion along the eastbound 118 Freeway.
The offramp at Rocky Peak was partially obstructed while emergency teams worked the scene. Law enforcement officers coordinated traffic and began an investigation into the cause of the crash.
