How Investigators Examine Cases Involving Assault and Residential Fires
In incidents involving both violent assault and house fires, investigators typically work to separate the timeline of events inside the home. They examine when injuries occurred, how the fire started, and whether multiple actions are connected in sequence.
Evidence from the scene often includes fire patterns, physical injuries, and objects recovered from the property. These details help determine whether the fire was set intentionally and how quickly it spread through the residence.
Vehicle movement and witness accounts may also be reviewed when property is taken or when individuals leave the scene. Together, these findings help reconstruct what happened in the hours surrounding the incident.
