Suffolk, VA (January 25, 2026) – Emergency crews responded on Friday afternoon to a pedestrian-involved crash near the Family Dollar store on West Constance Rd, where a teenage boy was reportedly struck by a vehicle.
The incident occurred around 2:51 p.m. near the West Shopping Center at 815A W Constance Rd. Fire, EMS, and rescue units were dispatched following a 911 call reporting the collision. Upon arrival, responders began immediate assessment and treatment of the injured teen. At the time of the call, the victim’s condition had not yet been confirmed.
Authorities temporarily secured the area while medics provided care and law enforcement began a preliminary investigation. The exact circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether the driver remained at the scene and what factors may have contributed, have not been released.
The Suffolk Police Department is continuing its investigation into the incident.
