Los Angeles, CA (August 2, 2026) – A crash involving an SUV and a semi-truck disrupted traffic on Friday morning, July 31, around 4:10 a.m. on Interstate 5 North near Roxford Street in Los Angeles.
According to preliminary information, the SUV came to rest sideways, blocking the slow lane after colliding with the semi-truck. Debris was scattered across multiple lanes, and there were initial concerns that the SUV might catch fire from the rear. Tow trucks were requested, and traffic was heavily backed up while crews worked to clear the scene.
All lanes reopened by approximately 5:09 a.m. The CHP incident log did not confirm whether anyone was injured.
