Scooter Safety Concerns Continue to Rise

Many of these vehicles are not designed for roadway travel and may lack critical safety features such as proper lighting, signaling equipment, and protective structures.
Officials encourage parents and guardians to ensure that motorized recreational vehicles are operated only in appropriate areas and in accordance with local laws to help reduce the risk of serious injuries.
