Why Golf Cart Crashes Can Lead to Serious Injuries
Communities such as The Villages often use golf carts for daily transportation along neighborhood roads and designated paths. While these vehicles travel at lower speeds than cars, they offer less structural protection for those inside.
Golf carts typically do not include the same safety features found in passenger vehicles, such as reinforced frames or airbags. As a result, riders may be more exposed during a collision.
Intersections like Aloha Way and Paradise Drive can create situations where two golf carts approach from different directions at the same time. Limited visibility or misjudging another driver’s movement can increase the risk of a crash.
