Hardeman County, TX (July 8, 2026) – Three people were killed after a head-on crash involving a passenger car and a semi-truck early Sunday morning on US Hwy 287 in Hardeman County.
The crash happened around 12:45 a.m. A preliminary investigation found that a 2016 Hyundai Sonata traveling east on US Hwy 287 crossed into the westbound lane and struck a 2023 Kenworth truck-tractor pulling a semi-trailer.
The Hyundai driver, identified as 27-year-old Eduyn Yohande Torrealba Evias of Denver, Colorado, and two passengers, identified as 33-year-old Yusney Alexeya Mora Mora and a 4-year-old child, died at the site. The semi-truck driver was not hurt.
The cause of the fatal crash is still being reviewed. We extend our deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of those who died.
