What Details Are Often Reviewed After Serious Intersection Accidents?
Serious intersection accidents often involve a review of traffic control signs, vehicle direction, and how each driver entered the crossing. Stop signs, lane markings, and sight distance can help explain how two vehicles came together.
Seat belt use is also commonly noted because it can reduce the risk of severe harm. Even with seat belts, people may still need hospital care after a strong impact. Medical records can help show the seriousness of internal trauma, broken bones, or other harm that may not be fully clear right away.
Vehicle damage, final resting points, and marks on the roadway may also provide useful context. These details can help show vehicle movement after contact and how force traveled through each vehicle.
