Emergency units responded to the scene around 5:05 p.m. on May 21 after reports of a crash involving three vehicles on the bridge. Initial radio traffic indicated that at least one adult woman reported leg pain following the collision, with additional injuries reported among those involved.
Authorities said police, fire crews, and emergency medical personnel assisted at the scene as traffic backed up across the bridge. Drivers experienced significant delays while the roadway remained partially impacted during the response.
