Cairo, MO (July 26, 2026) – Three people were injured and hospitalized after a two-vehicle collision on US-63, about two miles north of Cairo in Randolph County, on Friday afternoon, July 24, around 3:30 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a 2007 Nissan Altima and a 2014 Ford F-150 were both traveling northbound when the crash occurred. The report states the Nissan driver attempted to make a left turn and entered the path of the Ford pickup. The 75-year-old Nissan driver from Moberly, Missouri, suffered minor injuries and was taken by ambulance to Moberly Regional Medical Center.
The 68-year-old Ford driver from Macon, Missouri, also suffered minor injuries and was transported to University Hospital. A 79-year-old female passenger in the Ford suffered serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
