Carrollwood, FL (July 10, 2026) – Two people were seriously hurt in a multi-vehicle hit-and-run collision on Tuesday night on Turner Road in the Carrollwood area, leading to the arrest of a suspected impaired driver.
The crash occurred at approximately 11:42 p.m. According to deputies, the suspected driver struck multiple vehicles, crashed through a fence, and then fled the area on foot. Investigators later located the suspect, identified as Kelly Castleman, 30, at a nearby home about a mile from where the collision occurred.
Two people were taken to local hospitals with critical injuries. Deputies said breath tests administered after Castleman’s arrest indicated his blood alcohol concentration was more than three times Florida’s legal limit.
Castleman was taken into custody and faces multiple DUI-related charges in connection with the collision. Additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the crash have not been released. However, the investigation into the accident remains ongoing as investigators continue gathering evidence.
