San Diego, CA (July 9, 2026) – An injury traffic collision involving two vehicles was reported on Thursday morning near the northbound Interstate 5 connection with State Route 75 at the Coronado Bridge in San Diego.
According to the California Highway Patrol dispatch log, the call came in at approximately 11:42 a.m. The vehicles involved were identified as a gray Honda Accord and a white Subaru Outback. The dispatch record also noted that the airbags deployed during the collision.
Emergency units were sent to the roadway after injuries were reported. One of the drivers advised that they would arrange their own tow rather than request one through the rotation system. Additional information about the people involved and the extent of their injuries was not immediately available. The cause of the collision has not yet been determined as the investigation continues.
