Sacramento, CA (July 28, 2026) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Monday morning, July 26, at the intersection of Calvine Road and Auberry Drive in Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol incident log, the collision was reported shortly after 8 a.m. and involved a gray Toyota and a white sport utility vehicle. Initial reports indicated both parties were injured, with one person reportedly suffering a head injury.
Emergency responders also found two juveniles outside one of the vehicles. Their conditions were not immediately released. A caller told dispatchers that the gray Toyota allegedly ran a red light before colliding with the SUV, though investigators have not confirmed that information.
The crash temporarily blocked the roadway while emergency crews treated those involved and investigated the scene. Authorities continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the collision.
