Navarre, FL (July 4, 2026) – Two people were killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Interstate 110 North near mile marker 1 in Escambia County.
Emergency units responded to the scene at about 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 2, after reports of a serious crash on Interstate 110 near the overpass area. The Florida Highway Patrol stated that a 43-year-old Navarre man was driving a motorcycle northbound when it left the roadway, entered the inside shoulder, and struck a concrete traffic barrier.
Investigators said the rider and his passenger, a 45-year-old Navarre woman, were thrown from the motorcycle after impact and fell over the overpass. Both individuals were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not been released. Officials have not reported any additional vehicles involved.
